How we work

Four ideas we use to decide what to build and what to leave out, and a short process for turning them into a product.

Clarity before decoration

If an element does not help people understand or decide, it goes. We prefer few shapes, lots of space and high contrast, because the people who use our software are usually working in a hurry with sensitive information.

In practice that means screens with one main task, text that reads at first glance and names that do not need a manual.

Light, not noise

We show what illuminates: a well-placed figure, a clear action. Never effects that distract. A calm screen helps people make fewer mistakes and finish sooner.

That is where the company name and the symbol come from: a disc cut into vertical stripes, light that comes in orderly, not a flash.

Each product, its own stone

Every product has its own identity, with its own name, color and voice. Spinelle is a red stone, Heliodore a yellow one and Grenat a garnet one. Nitente holds the family together without standing in front of it.

This lets us speak to each profession in its own language: an accountant and a doctor do not need the same software or the same words.

Honest

We do not promise what does not exist yet. If something is in testing, we say so; if a feature is in preparation, it is marked that way on each product page.

That is why our products are presented as “in development” today and are tested with a small pilot before they open to more people.

From idea to product

  1. 01

    Listen

We start by talking to the people who do the work every day: accountants, doctors, customs professionals.

  2. 02

    Build little

We pick the few features that solve the real problem and leave the rest out.

  3. 03

    Test with a pilot

We open a small pilot and watch how it is really used, without dressing up the results.

  4. 04

    Refine and grow

We fix what we learn, and only then open up to more users.
